Diamine Inkvent 2023

I made a small chromatography project using a piece of Chemex filter and water as solvent. I was interested in see how these inks behave if I ever decide to use them for Art purposes, or as an enhancement on my watercolor projects. The method I used is not the regular chromatography method, I experimented changing some of the variables until I found a method that fits better the way I would use these inks in watercolor projects where the flow of water is more controlled.

Day 25 - Raise a Glass

This project was a lot of fun, yet I realized most of the inks do not fit my watercolor aesthetic, so I might not use them after all. Still, my favorite ones are:

  • Early Dusk
  • Nightfall (This one reminds me of Daniel Smith Moonglow watercolor)
  • Jacaranda
  • Weeping willow
